Licensing Register

You can now view the public register of applications made and licences issued under the Licensing Act 2003.

The public register lists all premises licences, club premises certificates, personal licences and temporary event notices received by the licensing authority. You can either fill in the relevant search criteria e.g. name, address or leave the them blank and click search. The most recent applications are at the end of the list.

The register shows current applications as well as historic information. For more details of any application you can search our register of premises licensing applications online by location, licence type, date received, trading name and applicant. You can also view the plans submitted with each application online. Some of the older applications will not have plans attached, please contact the licensing section direct should you require a copy. The attachments are rather large and may take some time to download.

Please click on the link below to begin your search:

Every effort is made to ensure that the information contained therein is accurate and up to date. If there are any issues about the specific details included about a particular application or licence issued then please refer your comments to the Licensing section.

Technical Note

The on-line licensing application is optimised to work with Internet Explorer. The application will work with most other browsers but you may experience some 'odd-behaviour' when using the back button and other similar activities.

Please also note that the initial loading time for the licensing application is longer than for other pages on the St Albans District Council website, please be patient it will load in due course.
