Trading Standards is a public service performed by Hertfordshire County Council. They provide advisory services to businesses, ensuring a safe and fair regulatory environment in which consumer and business interests can flourish.
Trading Standards will create and support a culture to enable willing businesses to comply with Trading Standards and Consumer Protection Law.

Trading Standards
A one stop shop for consumer protection information in the UK. The site is supported and maintained by TSI, the Trading Standards Institute. This site provides a wealth of information for consumers and businesses, schools, advice and information centres, community organisations, local councils, business support agencies and trade associations.

Consumer Complaints
Consumer Direct provides clear, practical, consumer advice. Their regionally based advisors are specially trained to give practical advice on all kinds of consumer issues - from problems with cars to faulty household appliances.
