London Road Cemetery opened in 1980 when
Hatfield Road Cemetery no longer had new graves available. It is currently laid out as a lawn cemetery, which is typical of the period. There is a Muslim section for adults and babies. Three Gardens of Rest are also provided where cremated remains may be buried. A large extension to the cemetery has now been developed and will offer more choice of graves and provide burial space for about 40 years.

Cemetery is located on London Road in St Albans. The Cemetery does not have a permanent staff presence though information and advice is available from the Cemetery office.
