On behalf of the City and District of St Albans, the Council has submitted an application to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for the Diamond Jubilee Lord Mayoralty Competition 2012. Only one Lord Mayoralty is available, and we are one of a number of cities competing for the honour. We will hear in 2012 whether we have been successful in our application.
