The Mayor, Cllr Aislinn Lee is holding her Civic Service at St Albans Cathedral on Sunday 16 October starting at 11.05am.

There will be a procession celebrating different faiths, followed by a choir from Watling View School* and children from St Columba’s College** will show their skills at bell ringing. Prayers will be read by representatives from the Mayor’s two charities Sure-start St Albans and St Albans and Hertsmere Women’s Refuge (SAHWR)***.

The Mayor, Cllr Aislinn Lee commented: “I am inviting you all to this special multi-faith event. This year I feel truly honoured to be able to welcome a delightful choir from Watling View School, one of our special schools in St Albans and the amazing St Columba’s Bell Choir, which I know will make this a truly memorable service. Please join me in celebrating the diversity of our city and district which makes it the truly wonderful place it surely is.”
