The Deputy Mayor Cllr Geoff Harrison is officially opening the 16th St Albans Beer Festival on Wednesday 28 September at 7pm. He is pictured here with Phil Defriez, Festival Organiser for CAMRA* South Herts Branch, just before the doors open.
Tring breweries’ XL IPA was named by Phil Defriez, Festival Organiser for CAMRA South Herts Branch, to celebrate CAMRA’s 40th anniversary.
The Deputy Mayor said: “I am very pleased that there are 9 breweries from Hertfordshire providing 40 different beers for local people to taste. The St Albans Beer Festival has now become a national event in the calendar for beer connoisseurs and is one of the largest in the south of England, so we’re delighted that it has become part of St Albans City and District Council’s Food and Drink Festival.”
Cllr Geoff Harrison, Deputy Mayor of St Albans City & District.
