Nominate your favourite restaurant, bar, pub, café, producer or food shop for the St Albans Food and Drink Awards 2012.
The award winners will be announced during the St Albans Food and Drink Festival 2012 which runs from 26 September to 7 October 2012.

The awards celebrate the variety of local eateries, hostelries, and food and drink producers in the District. You have until 31 July to make nominations for the following award categories:
• Best Restaurant
• Best Café
• Best Pub
• Best Bar
• Local Gem
• Local Producer
• Family Friendly
• Kate D’Arcy Award for Exceptional Customer Service
Cllr Beric Read, Portfolio Holder for Community Engagement and Localism for the District Council, said: “The St Albans Food and Drink Awards contribute to the vibrant food scene in the District by highlighting the variety of cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars available. They also showcase the tasty food and drink that is produced locally. Please nominate your favourite place to eat or drink and ensure that it gets the recognition it deserves.”
A shortlist will then be drawn up and the public will be invited to vote for their favourites from 17 September. The winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on 4 October.
