St Albans City & District Council has requested an additional Luton Airport consultation exhibition event for central and southern areas of the district following requests from residents.

The exhibition is one of eight being held in areas potentially affected by the airport’s expansion plans.

The event is to be held at the old Town Hall in Market Place, St Albans on Wednesday 26 September from 3pm-8pm.  It is open to all.

Cllr Teresa Heritage, Portfolio Holder for Planning and Conservation at St Albans City & District Council said:  “As was the case for the Harpenden exhibition earlier in September, this is a good opportunity for local people to find out more about the airport’s proposals, ask questions and comment.”

Details of the Airport’s proposals can be viewed on their website: http://www.london-luton.co.uk/en/content/8/1171/masterplan.html
