1.  This is the financial year that your bill relates to.

2. The date the council tax bill was issued.

4. Band – this is the valuation band your property is in. The amount of Council tax you pay is directly related to this.

5. Charges for your bill – are broken down between the District Council, County Council, Police and any local precept for Parish Council.

6.  The person(s) liable for payment of the bill and Contact Address – where the Council Tax bill will be issued.

7. This is the property that the Council Tax bill relates to.

8. This is the reference number of the property that the Council Tax bill relates to.

9. This is the period of liability this bill relates to. Any reductions that have been awarded to your account are also shown here.

10. This shows the balance payable for this bill.

11. Shows the amount and the date payments are to be made by.

12. Shows how the payments are going to be collected – Direct Debit/ Standing Order direct from your bank or by Cash/Cheques/Debit Card Payments which you need to make.
