By listening to our residents and businesses, and communicating our intentions clearly, we can all help to make St Albans a friendly and prosperous area.
Consultation and Feedback
Your opinions are important to help us review and develop our services. By making your views known, you can help us to achieve the best possible standards in service provision to everyone.
We are committed to open and inclusive local government; we employ a wide range of approaches to public consultation to ensure we listen effectively and consider the views of our residents as part of our decision making process, including the establishment of a Community Panel. The overall aim is to ensure council policies and services reflect the aspirations and needs of our diverse communities.
Community Panel
The Community Panel is made up of just over 1,000 residents from all parts of St Albans City and District. We recruit members for the panel using quota sampling so the panel is an accurate microcosm of the community at large. The only qualification for joining the panel is willingness and time to take part in surveys and discussion groups.
