St Albans City and District Council's Community Panel is a representative group of residents who have agreed to be approached regularly for their feedback.
The panel is an important way for us to find out how residents feel about issues and acts as a sounding board for future policies and decisions.
It is an online panel and surveys are sent by email. This allows us to gather feedback more quickly, approach a wider number of people and save money.
The Community Panel is not the only way we seek the views of local people. We also use formal consultations, such as our regular Community Survey, and gather feedback at events for specific groups of residents, such as our Tenants Forum. Our current consultations are listed on the website at http://www.stalbans.gov.uk/council-and-democracy/yourviews/consultations/default.aspx
The panel is operated by Opinion Research Services (ORS), professional and accredited consultation experts, on behalf of St Albans City and District Council.
