Applying Online - this will provide you with information to make an online application and payment via the Planning Portal.

Application Forms and Guidance Notes - to download the relevant form and guidance in order for you to submit an application directly to the Council.

Planning Applications Search - to search all planning applications and submit comments on those still under consideration.

Please note we are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our Planning Applications search facility.
If you are trying to search for a planning application from 2003 onwards and receive no results, you can view the application at the District Council offices.  Alternatively, you may email David Richardson our e-planning system officer at eplanning@stalbans.gov.uk who will provide you with a direct link to view the PDF file of the planning application you are searching for, if available.

Westminster Lodge Planning Application

An application (5/2010/0259) has been submitted for the erection of a two/three storey leisure facility comprising swimming pools, fitness suite, four court sports hall, climbing wall, cafe/bistro, spa and associated plant.  Demolition of existing superintendent's house.  New external hard and soft landscaping, parking and associated access and service road incorporating car parking and loading for Abbey Theatre.  Erection of single storey substation building.  Formation of drop off points and pedestrian crossing on Mud Lane. Demolition of existing Westminster Lodge leisure centre and creche following erection of new leisure facility to allow construction of car parks.
