Local Development Scheme (LDS)

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is essentially the Council's three year work programme for the preparation of each Development Plan Document (DPD). A new draft LDS has been agreed by the District Council and is awaiting approval from the Regional body, the Government Office for the East of England (Go-East). A draft summary can be seen below. The current adopted Local Development Scheme is out of date and is in the process of being replaced.  The LDS covering the period April 2007 – March 2010 was approved by the Go-East in May 2007 Local Development Scheme 2007-2010.
