Mobile Operators' Annual Rollout Plans

The annual Rollout Plans comprise an Excel spreadsheet with a tab for each of the operators, please note that T-Mobile and 3 have a combined spreadsheet with tab reference “TMUK&3”. From July 2010, Orange and T-Mobile have merged to form Everything Everywhere. However, this year's rollout plans for each brand are still separate within the spreadsheet.

Contained within each spreadsheet is information relating to the operators' existing sites and envisaged new proposals for the following 12 months. It should be noted that whilst the rollout envisaged for the forthcoming year is limited in some cases, it does not include replacement sites that will be required where an operator is served a Notice to Quit (NTQ) in respect of an existing site. As operators often have insufficient advanced warning of when they may be served Notices to Quit on existing sites, information on alternative replacement sites cannot be included in the Annual Rollout Plans.

As the purpose of the rollout plans is to provide a high level overview of existing network sites and planned new sites for the forthcoming year, it is not appropriate or possible to provide location maps or detailed designs for each proposed new site at this stage. This detailed information will be supplied with the planning application for a particular site.
