Graffiti is an illegal, anti-social activity that creates a negative impression of an area and contributes to people's fear of crime. Where graffiti has appeared on public land or property, we will remove it on request. We can also provide help and advice on graffiti removal from private property.
Our aim is for graffiti to be removed as quickly as possible, usually within five working days. Racist or obscene graffiti will be cleaned off within 24 hours. We work closely with the Police to identify those responsible for the graffiti and seek justice from them.
