IMPROVEMENTS to your cardboard recycling collection

cardboard changes

From Monday 15th September 2014 residents will be able to present large pieces of cardboard with their recycling boxes for the crews to collect.

Following feedback from resident's we have made arrangements to collect larger pieces of cardboard as part of the normal kerbside service. We ask that you flatten the cardboard and put it with or under your recycling boxes and the cardboard will be taken on your recycling day. Please note that your paper and cardboard box may be collected at a different time to your other boxes but they will be emptied on the same day.

FLATS will also be able to recycle cardboard with their paper in your communal recycling bins. Further information for flats will be published shortly and keep an eye out for new stickers which will be issued to your bins reflecting the changes.

A press release regarding the changes can be found here.
