St Albans District Council spend circa £10 million on improvements to the Council's housing stock. These works are tendered in line with the NJCC best practice and in conjunction with the Council's constitution.
The council currently utilises a variety of tendering processes ranging from competitive quotations (for minor works) to long term partnering agreements.
Current Tenders
St Albans City & District Council is currently inviting expressions of interests for the following works:
The supply and installation of Kitchen & Bathrooms
The full Rewire of Electrical Installations to Local Authority dwellings & Communal Areas
The external redecoration of houses, bungalows, flats and maisonettes, together with the internal redecoration of common parts, where applicable, to blocks of flats.
- The replacement of Pitched Roofs to local authority dwellings
