The Council offers an annual Training Programme for all staff which is wide ranging and in line with our corporate aims, objectives and our organisational developmental needs.
The Training Programme includes

• professional development and training sponsorship scheme - offers opportunities to undertake external training courses e.g. European Computer Driving Licences (ECDL), National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ’s) in administration and customer services, Degrees and Diplomas in Environmental Health, Housing Studies or similar
Training is generally co-ordinated and managed by a central team in Human Resources.
