We have produced a Draft Arts Strategy for the District; the work was led by the Arts Development Officer in consultation with local arts organisations, artists and other interested individuals and parties.

The draft strategy was considered at Cabinet in early 2006 and a number of elements were not formally adopted and therefore work will need to commence on a revised strategy, taking into account budgetary decisions.

Arts Development
The Arts Development team in St Albans provide advice and information, funding and support to help local arts practitioners and organisations develop. They also run a number of projects and events to support the development of audiences and encourage participation in the arts.
