Welcome to the Arts Funding Information and Advice sections. This area is designed to signpost you to external funding opportunities that clubs, charities and organisations may wish to apply for when planning and developing new arts activities and projects.

Arts Council England

Arts Council England (ACE) works to get great art to everyone by championing, developing and investing in experiences that enrich people's lives.

National Portfolio Funding will provide funding for a national portfolio of organisations from April 2012. It replaces their regular funding programme, which will end on 31 March 2012. Applications for the new programme are open from Thursday 4 November 2010 and close at 10am on 24 January 2011.

Grants for the Arts are for activities carried out over a set period and which engage people in England in arts activities, and help artists and arts organisations in England carry out their work.

Unlimited Commissions London 2012, the UK Arts Councils and the British Council want to commission high quality, ambitious work by disabled and Deaf artists that can be experienced in a wide range of spaces, to help celebrate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

ACE are encouraging disabled and Deaf artists to push beyond their personal best alongside Paralympic athletes, by creating work which opens doors, changes minds, and inspires new collaborations.

Awards for All logoAwards for All is a small grants scheme small grants scheme which aims to help improve local communities and the lives of people who are most in need.

The Community Services Team are committed to supporting local artists, groups and organisations in seeking funding and as a result have developed a funding matrix. This funding matrix is updated and checked every 2 weeks to ensure that the information provided is current. Although we endeavour to ensure that this information is correct all funding opportunities are from external organisations and we highly recommend contacting them directly for more information, prior to completing any applications.
