Harpenden Public Halls are set on the edge of Harpenden Common in the beautiful county of Hertfordshire offering the ideal venue for any occasion, in attractive surroundings.
We have a choice of two halls, The Eric Morecambe Hall or the smaller Southdown Room, enabling us to accommodate functions from the grandiose to the more intimate and less formal event.

The ERIC MORECAMBE HALL, which has a fully operational stage and all technical facilities including a resident technician and dressing rooms, seats 280 for dining or 380 theatre style.
The SOUTHDOWN ROOM holds 80 for dining or 120 for a meeting. Full in-house catering is available or you can organise your own. The premises are fully licenced, we even have our own car park. So if you need a venue for a party, wedding, exhibition, private meeting, theatrical production or commercial event please telephone us for further information.
As of Autumn 2001 we will be able to offer you a party package for your child's birthday, complete with Bouncy Castle, a packed party tea and a specialist birthday cake. Children's Entertainer extra, by arrangement.
