Why has the leisure card scheme being introduced?
- To offer residents lower prices than non residents because their council taxes pay for
the leisure facilities.
- To help us to understand more accurately who is using what facilities, and when, so
that we can plan even better services for the future.
- To raise the profile of the extensive range of leisure facilities in the district by
enabling us to provide information about these facilities to those who want to access
them.
- To raise awareness of the 50% discounts available to people in receipt of certain
benefits.
- To provide a single card for residents covering all activities and memberships.
NB: Please note the competition to win a three year membership worth up to £4,000
