Special Olympics 

Special Olympics St Albans provides year-round training and competition in a variety of Olympic type sports for people eight years of age and older with a learning disability.

Special Olympics provides continuous opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate achievement, experience employment and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.

Special Olympics St Albans aims to support athletes in building confidence, self esteem and skill level as well as training with and competing against other athletes in local, regional and national Special Olympic events.
