The Town Hall, Market Place, St Albans Herts AL3 5DJ

The Town Hall has just under gone a full refurbishment and is now available once again for hire for Functions, Weddings, Exhibitions and Events in the newly named Regency Room (formerly Assembly Room) and Ryder Room (formerly Mayors Parlour). Work on the old Tourist Information Office at the front of the building is due to start in January 2008 and to be completed by Easter 2008.

The new Tourist and Information centre is situated at the back of the Town Hall Building (Opposite Past Times and Thornton's) and has information for both Residents and Visitors. Tel: 01727 864511 or email tic@stalbans.gov.uk

In the rear of the building there are two additional rooms for hire. The 1831 Courtroom, one of only few remaining pre Victorian Courtrooms in the Country, is available for filming and for others who need the backdrop of a courtroom.
