- Housing Benefit helps people on a low income to pay their rent. It is sometimes called rent rebate or rent allowance.
- Council Tax Benefit helps people on low income to pay their Council Tax.
- Council Tax is your contribution to the many services the council provides such as collecting rubbish, pest control, planning control and leisure facilities
