    COOOOL Sites to Visit (5-16)  
  * Welltown (aged 5 - 7 years)  
   

Welltown is aimed at Key Stage 1 pupils, aged 5 - 7 years, and covers the main areas of personal, social and health education (PSHE) and citizenship set out in the National Curriculum, the framework for PSHE and citizenship and the National Healthy School Standard. The site is designed to be used by children in schools but the activities can easily be used at home too. The activities work best if explained and discussed with an adult initially but once children are familiar with the games, they can continue alone or in small groups.

The site covers a range of health topics, encouraging discussion and further activities as appropriate. Visit Welltown for Key Stage 1 (5-7 years) at www.welltown.gov.uk.

  * Galaxy-H (aged 7-11 years)  
   

Galaxy-H is aimed at Key Stage 2 pupils, aged 7-11 years, and covers the main areas of personal, social and health education (PSHE) and citizenship set out in the National Curriculum, the framework for PSHE and citizenship and the National Healthy School Standard. LifeBytes is a new website which gives young people aged 11 - 14 facts about health in a fun and interesting way. It includes sections on: different health topics some health conditions healthy schools. LifeBytes won't tell you what to do but will give you the information to help you make your own choices about health. It can also help with your schoolwork and projects. Mind, Body & Soul is a new website which aims to give young people aged 14-16, the lowdown on health in a fun and interesting way. Mind, Body & Soul is not designed to tell you how to live your life, but will give you accurate and up-to-date information about health so that you can make your own choices. It also contains material that you will help with your schoolwork. Mind, Body & Soul is divided into sections covering a range of health topics from accidents to sun safety. These sections are packed with facts, figures and useful advice. You can also find out the latest health news, learn about healthy schools and a variety of health conditions. Mind, Body & Soul is packed full of information and you don't need to look at the whole site at once, you can always visit us again later.
