A number of local Housing Associations also have properties
throughout the St Albans District. St Albans Council has nomination
rights to a number of these properties. This means that we
can put forward households from our Housing Register and Transfer
lists and ask the Housing Association to offer them a tenancy.
A lot of the Housing Associations operating within the St
Albans District have now closed their lists to direct applicants.
This means that anyone wanting to apply for Housing Association
property in the St Albans District would first have to be
on the Council's Housing Register or Transfer List.
