| The emergency repairs service covers those problems where
there is an immediate risk to personal safety, and these
are shown below.

No central heating: We will only attend during winter
months (31st October - 1st May). If you are a senior
citizen or disabled person and the problem is reported
before 8pm
we will try to attend that evening. Otherwise a heating
engineer will attend within 24 hours.

No mains water: This will be attended to within 24 hours.

No electrical power or lighting: If you have no electrical
power or lighting we will attend within 24 hours.
You should have some form of emergency lighting available
as
candles
should not be used.

Water flooding: All tenants should
report water flooding as an emergency and a contractor
will attend as soon
as possible.

Structural damage: Usually caused by
high winds or storm damage. Where there is a risk to
health and
safety
of tenants
and/or general public this will be dealt with
as soon as possible.

No working toilet: This will be dealt
with within 24 hrs where there is no second toilet
in the property.
The
toilet
can be cleared using a bucket of water.

Secure
property following break in: This is dealt with as
an emergency and could be rechargeable.

Access for lost keys/locked
out: We will only attend for senior citizens and the
disabled. Details of local
locksmith
are provided.

Lift breakdown: This will be
dealt with as an emergency repair.
