A survey of local residents is carried out every three years by MORI on the Council's behalf. The survey covers areas such as the corporate aims, community safety, communication, quality of life and satisfaction with specific Council services. The survey was carried out between June and September 2005. A representative sample of 1,009 residents were surveyed face-to-face in their homes.
The survey results highlight several areas of improvement compared to the 2002 survey as well as some issues that continue to be of
concern to residents.
