A clear winner
emerged in the vote to choose a new playground for
the
Jersey Farm in St Albans.
Of the 208 votes cast by children and their parents, 162
went for the
design produced by Proludic
Ltd, from Nottingham - Design 1
St Albans City & District Council had held a display
of three designs
at Wheatfields Infants School, and asked local people to
vote for the
playground they liked best.
The new play area, which should be completed by the summer,
will
be
built on land off Sandringham Crescent.
