Train information
The City of St Albans is served by two railway stations.
St Albans City Station is situated in Victoria Street and services are run by First Capital Connect. The service connects Bedford in the north, directly through London, to
Brighton in the south. Gatwick Airport and Luton Airport are also served on the same line. Please note that from December 2008, major engineering works will affect some services. Please see the Thameslink Programme website for further details.
St Albans Abbey Station is situated at the bottom of Holywell Hill and services are provided by London Midland. The station provides a local service into Watford Junction, from where you can connect to the Euston Mainline services.
