The legal statutory consultation for amendments to, and extension of, the Harpenden Controlled Parking Zone is currently taking place.
A copy of the draft Traffic Regulation Order together with plans showing the proposals for the lengths of roads concerned and a statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at The Information Point at Harpenden Town Hall in Leyton Road, Harpenden (between 10am and 4pm Mondays to Fridays), Harpenden Library at Vaughan Road, Harpenden (the library is open between 9 am and 7pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, between 10am and 7pm on Tuesdays and between 9am and 4pm on Saturdays). The order and plans can also be viewed at St Albans District Council offices between 8.45am and 5.15pm Monday to Thursday, 8.45am -4.45pm on Friday and 9.30am-12.30pm on Saturday (except on Saturdays preceding bank holidays.)
On Saturday 7th April, the plans will be available for viewing at Park Hall, Harpenden between 10am and 2pm when an officer will be available to answer questions you may have on the scheme.

Objections to the proposals should be made via email to parking@stalbans.gov.uk or in writing to Steve Deakin, Parking Contracts Manager, Parking Services, St Albans District Council, St Peter's Street, St Albans AL1 3JE by 30 April stating the grounds on which they are made. Please note that any objection may be communicated to, or seen by other persons who may be affected.
