By direct debit

Direct Debit is the easiest, most convenient and cost effective way to pay your Council Tax. Our collection dates are on 1st and 15th of the month. If you wish to pay by direct debit, please complete our:

Telephone Payment Line

We operate an automated telephone payment line which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for debit and credit card payments up to a value of £4,000.

Standing Order

If you wish to pay your Council Tax by standing order you must instruct your Bank to make the payments to us. In addition to your Council Tax reference number, you will need our bank account details which are as follows:

Post Office & Shops displaying a PayPoint sign

At the Post Office you can pay by cash, cheque or debit card using the bar code on the front of your bill (we no longer issue payment cards). PayPoint outlets will accept cash and debit cards but not cheques.




Payments by debit card, credit card, cheque and postal order can be made at the Council Offices during normal working hours.
