The hearings will take place in two Stages, and will open on Tuesday 21 January 2020 at 10.00 am. Thereafter, morning sessions will start at 9.30am. Stage 1 will consist of three weeks of hearings which will be held on the following days:
Week 1: Tuesday 21 January - Thursday 23 January 2020 (inclusive)
Week 2: Tuesday 4 February - Thursday 6 February 2020 (inclusive)
Week 3: Tuesday 11 February - Thursday 13 February. (inclusive)
Venue: The Council Chamber, St Albans City and District Council Offices, Civic Centre, St Peter’s St, St Albans, AL1 3JE
Travelling: If travelling by car please note that the car park closest to the venue, the Civic Centre car park is not open to the public until 10am, which is after the opening start of the morning sessions. If travelling by car, the Council have confirmed that the car park to use is at Drovers Way (AL3 5EB) and that standard charges will apply.
Members of the Public are very welcome to attend the hearing sessions to listen to the discussions but are only able to take part in the discussions if their participation has already been agreed by the Programme Officer and Inspectors. The Council will be webcasting the hearing sessions and these can be viewed live at https://stalbans.public-i.tv/core/portal/home. Recordings of the webcasts will be available to view via the same link, normally within 24-48 hours following the close of the individual session.
