    Health Care Permits for Professionals

Medical organisations that need to frequently visit patients and clients living within a Permit Parking scheme area may be issued with a Health Care Permit through their place of employment. These permits enable them to park in any resident space marked as permit holders or resident permit holders.

To apply for any of these Permits, please complete the below application form and return to:

    Special Health Care Permits

Residents who rely on family carers providing essential support may, in some cases, apply for a Special Health Care Permit. Special Health Care Permits have no limit on the length of time parking is required for the care of the resident in the zone in which they live.

There is only one application per household and all applications will be accessed individually.

Requests for the Special Health Care Permits must be made in writing and must be accompanied by medical evidence confirming that the condition is of a permanent nature and any other criteria required (such as being in receipt of attendance allowance).

Please note that temporary conditions, such as pregnancy, or childcare arrangements do not fall within the criteria of a special health care permit and any parking provision required in such circumstances should be met by way of Visitor Parking Permits.
