Recent developments in the examination process

30 May 2025

Following the Stage 1 hearing sessions, the Council have submitted a Duty to Cooperate Addendum together with accompanying appendices.  These documents are in the Examination Documents at SADC/ED74 through to SADC/ED74E. 

The Inspectors are running a targeted consultation on these documents, which is limited to those parties who raised Duty to Co-operate at the Regulation 19 stage and to those who took part in the Hearing Session held on Tuesday 29 April when Duty to Co-operate was discussed.   For further information on the Consultation please see the Targeted Consultation - Duty to Co-operate page.

The Draft Programme showing the Participants for each of the hearing sessions can now be viewed on the Hearing Sessions page. During the examination please always check the Hearing sessions page for the most up to date version of this document.

The Council’s Annual Monitoring Report (1 April 2023-31 March 2024) together with a housing trajectory addendum’s now available in the Examination Documents at SADC/ED71 and SADC/ED71A.

The Council's replies to the Inspectors’ Initial Questions are now available and can be accessed in the Examination Documents at SADC/ED29 through to SADC/ED67 inclusive.

The Inspectors have written to the Council with their initial questions, and their letter can be viewed in the Examination documents at SADC/ED28.
