How to present your waste for collection Toggle accordion
- You must place your containers or bags at the boundary of your property by 7am on your collection day
- Please make sure your waste containers are clearly visible
- All of your refuse (rubbish or waste for disposal) must be in the brown wheeled bin or purple sacks as we cannot collect any excess waste
- Please check that you have correctly sorted your materials
Report a missed collection Toggle accordion
A bin is classed as missed if it was available on the boundary at the time the collection took placed and was presented according to our guidelines on “How to present you waste for collection”.
If you believe your bin(s) were genuinely missed, please inform us as soon as possible within 48 hours of your collection day. We can only deal with a missed collection if it is reported within this timescale.
Need help moving your bins to the property boundary? (Assisted Collection) Toggle accordion
If you cannot move your containers to the boundary of your property, because of age or disability, we may be able to provide an assisted collection.
This service is only available to those residents where no member of the household is able to move the bins.
Once your application for an assisted collection has been approved, a waste contract officer will visit you to agree with you where your bins should be placed.
