Application forms and notes
There is one application form to apply for consent under the Building Regulations. Correspondence from us is via email - please include all email addresses on the form.

Please read our Privacy Notice before applying. Once the form is completed, email it to us at buildingcontrol@stalbans.gov.uk* with any supporting information i.e. plans and calculations
We will send you an automatic response confirming receipt. If you have not sent us the fee, we will contact the fee payer (or applicant) for this. This can be a card payment made over the telephone.
*email file sizes and attachments may be restricted at 10MB - please send in batches if 10MB is exceeded
Application fees
You can pay when you make your application (quoting the address) by:

- Debit or credit card in our offices
- Cheque made payable to St Albans City and District Council by post
